  2. Device identifiers (including but not limited to unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers, MAC addresses);

  5. Crash reports containing personal information;
  6. Audio recordings or stored audio data;
  7. Measurement history or stored readings.

3. AUDIO PROCESSING

3.1. Real-Time Processing Only: The Application accesses the device microphone solely for real-time sound level measurement purposes.

3.2. Audio data is processed according to the following principles:

  1. Audio streams are processed immediately upon receipt;
  2. No audio data is recorded, stored, or cached;
  3. No audio data is transmitted to any external servers or services;
  4. Audio data is discarded immediately after decibel calculation;
  5. No persistent storage of audio-related information occurs.

4. DATA USE AND PROCESSING

4.1. Given that no personal data is collected, there is no personal data to use, process, analyze, or otherwise handle.

4.2. The Application operates entirely through local processing on the user's device.

5. INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

5.1. No Information Sharing: The Developer does not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose any information to third parties, as no information is collected.

5.2. The Application does not integrate with any third-party services that collect personal data, including but not limited to:

  1. Analytics services;
  2. Advertising networks;
  3. Social media platforms;
  4. Cloud storage services;
  5. Crash reporting services that collect personal data.

6. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

6.1. No Data Storage: No personal data is stored on any servers controlled by the Developer.

6.2. No personal data is stored on the user's device beyond standard application preferences that do not contain personal information.

6.3. As no sensitive personal data is collected or stored, traditional data security measures for personal data are not applicable.

7. USER RIGHTS AND PERMISSIONS

7.1. Microphone Access

7.1.1. The Application requires microphone access to function properly.

7.1.2. Users may grant or deny microphone permission through device settings.

7.1.3. Microphone permission may be revoked at any time through iOS/macOS system settings.

7.1.4. The Application will not function without microphone access.

7.2. Data Subject Rights

7.2.1. Under applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), users have certain rights regarding personal data. However, since no personal data is collected:

  1. Right to Access: No personal data exists to access;
  2. Right to Deletion: No personal data exists to delete;

9.2. All processing occurs locally on the user's device.

  5. Advertising identifiers.

11. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (GDPR)

11.1. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), no legal basis for processing personal data is required, as no personal data is processed.

11.2. Microphone access is granted through explicit user consent via iOS/macOS system permission prompts.

12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

12.1. The Developer reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time.

12.2. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this document.

12.3. Given that no personal data is collected, changes will primarily address:
